Near the Siberian Arctic Ocean lies the weather station “Chodovaricha”, likely the loneliest workplace in the world. Here, three meteorologists—Wladimir, Sascha, and Alexander—observe the weather. In the rhythm of the seasons, one can share in their lives. The enduring isolation takes its toll, and interpersonal conflicts among the weather observers are inevitable. Yet, snowstorms and half-starved polar bears are also ever-present dangers. They find solace in sporadic visits from nomads, Russian pop songs, and, not least, the watchdog Jack.
