Dorothea
Braun
Producer
Born in Eberbach on the Neckar, Germany. Dorothea Braun is an emerging producer with the ambition to tell unique stories with a strong visual style. She trained in the tourism industry and worked there for several years.
She studied cultural and social anthropology focusing on visual anthropology at Philipps University in Marburg, European ethnology at Humboldt University in Berlin. She moved to Bolzano, Italy, where she studied directing and story development at documentary film school ZeLIG. She worked as an author, researcher, sound recordist, director, camera- and production assistant on feature documentaries.
The documentary WEATHERMAKERS in which she was responsible for the screenplay was shortlisted for the German Film Prize 2023.
Her documentary films TRANSITION BLU and HULITSCHKES ARCHE were well received at several festivals in Italy and abroad as well as at various universities.
Since 2018 she has been working for the Frankfurt production company strandfilm as a producer. In 2019 she founded her production house DOOR+BRIDGE Film.
She was a participant of the EURODOC23, the BERLINALE DOC TOOLBOX 23, and the ProPro workshop 2023 to empower female film producers supported by the Austrian Film Fund.

Legron
Production
Sarah Legron born 1996 in Heidelberg, holds a BA degree in Media Studies from Phillips University in Marburg and an MA degree in Literature and Media from the University of Bamberg.
Her first job was during the end of her MA the collaboration with producer and director Dorothea Braun on her current film projects with special attention on ICEWOMEN (AT) and the archival research and rights clearing for this project.
Her further interests lie in feminist film criticism and feminist film studies.
Kurt Ottermacher

Born in Frankfurt, Kurt Otterbacher attended JWG University from 1971 to 1976, where he studied economics.
During his time at the university from 1972 to 1977, he was involved with Pupille Kino.
Subsequently, from 1977 to 1980, he worked at Harmonie Kino in Frankfurt.
From 1981 to 1986, he was associated with Chapter Two Kino in Frankfurt, as well as Olympia Kino in Neu Isenburg.
Since 1986, he has been the managing producer of strandfilm-Produktions GmbH.
He has a degree in Diplom Economics. Main areas of activity: Producer, Management.
He also takes over production and manufacturing management for in-house and commissioned productions as well as for third-party companies.
Furthermore, he is an author and film critic.
